Montezuma offers the perfect place to learn to surf in Costa Rica. A 20 minute walk along secluded beaches and jungle pathways takes you to Playa Grande. This beach has no road access, which makes it a quiet and secluded place to learn how to surf. The surf lesson company we work with, Young Vision, has experienced instructors with ISA, first aid and lifeguard training. Young Vision is a locally owned and operated company with local surfers leading the classes. Playa Grande is also a great place for intermediate surfers as well!
