Beach Elopement Packages in Costa Rica

My now wife and I recently stayed at Ylang Ylang for 7 days have our wedding ceremony and what would be our honeymoon. To say that we were satisfied with our stay would not be true. It would not be giving them enough credit. Ylang Ylang proved to be, every day and every hour of our stay, exactly the experience we had desired and hoped for.  We had wanted a location that would allow us to enjoy more than just a vacation to somewhere we had not been, but enjoy each other's company in a spectacularly beautiful place that is designed to to just that. You do not find TV's and entertainment here because you should not need it. The beauty of this land and resort is appreciated by every step through the jungle covered paths you walk. You don't need fans or white noise to lull you to sleep because you get the lullaby of the waves hitting the shore as you drift off. Someone who cannot enjoy the majesty and simplicity of this resort does not deserve the chance to stay there. You will want for nothing except maybe another cocktail or dessert. The food was wildly more than expected, especially based on the fact breakfast and dinner was included. The staff is clearly aligned with management and owners about how they want their guests to feel and experience their time. Never were you unattended to if need be. Never were the rooms not cleaned to perfection. Never did I not want a second plate of whatever I decided to eat for that meal.  Our wedding ceremony could not have been better. We decided to have just ourselves, no family or friends attend. With that being said, Emma and everyone gave us the feeling of having family there by ensuring that everything was taken care of. Our special day was mapped out so that we could enjoy it, rather than stress about what needed to be done.  We will never be able to fully articulate how happy we were with our stay and how grateful we are for the entire Ylang Ylang family for what they provided us. A memory that will last a lifetime. If you are looking to visit a place that allows you to enjoy nature, peace, quiet, a special someone, or maybe most importantly yourself, this is the place for you. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our wonderful week. We will only be able to repay you by guaranteeing that we will most definitely be back again.

This was our very first trip to Costa Rica. We were a bit nervous about the transportation and getting around in a country that we were not familiar with. Ylang Ylang took care of us from the start. They not only coordinated our wedding, but arranged all excursions, and transportation to and from the airport. The transportation involved both private and group shuttles as well as a ferry. All of the drivers that were arranged through Ylang Ylang were prompt, courteous and professional. We felt like we were in good hands from start to finish. That does not hold a candle to to the amazing experience at Ylang Ylang. When you first step foot on the grounds you are immediately transported into a jungle paradise. As you walk down the path to your private dome, you are surrounded by lush landscaping, monkeys in the trees and an occasional agouti. The grounds are also alive with birds, butterflies and the sound of crashing waves. When we arrived at our dome we were welcomed with an adorable towel animal (we got a new one every day), a bottle of champagne and fresh flowers, as well as a charming and well maintained room. Even though the property is amazing and beautiful, the true asset at Ylang Ylang is the staff. From Alex and Jeffery at the front desk, to Patricia, the bar tender and Moises our waiter we were treated like we were the only guests at the resort. Words are not enough to describe their kindness and professionalism. Emma and Moraya, our weddingplanners went above and beyond. The day of our wedding was quite stormy. We were concerned that we would be getting married in a downpour or not on the beach where we had wanted. Thanks to Moraya's flexibility we were able to squeeze in our wedding and photos in-between the storms. He has calm and professional and made us feel like it would all work out, which it did. The wedding on the beach was amazing and our photographer John Williamson (also arranged through Ylang Ylang) did an exceptional job. I have so many wonderful pictures that I am sure my Facebook friends are getting tired of viewing them. We loved our stay at Ylang Ylang and can't wait to return in the not so distant future. You and your staff were amazing and we will never forget the time we spent at Ylang Ylang.
