The hike to Playa Grande, Montezuma crosses rivers, goes up and down jungle trails, and along volcanic beaches. Once you reach Playa Grande, you are rewarded with a long stretch of deserted beach and long rolling waves that are perfect for surfing beginners and with larger waves, great for all levels.
