With our first couple of rains this season, some might be wondering, “what should I expect the weather to be during rainy season in Costa Rica?” Many times people are concerned that the rainy season may ruin their vacation or beach time. Fortunately, most of rainy season is pretty mild and you can still enjoy a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. Rainy season in Montezuma means that there will likely be some rain every few days. Sometimes it will rain all night and sometimes it will rain for a short while during the day. The rain usually never lasts the whole day, but will instead rain a little bit here and there. That means that there is plenty of dry time during the day to explore and enjoy. Once the rain begins and there are more clouds, it actually cools down a bit and it’s very pleasant to enjoy the beach without the burning sun!
